The Sleeping Orc
Purpose / Function
The strongest liquor in the city can be found at Tubom's place, the Sleeping Orc, aptly named because it could put the strongest of Orcs to sleep. A rowdy rough place where people come for a good time. There's a standing arm wrestling competition that happens here twice a weekend. Tubom is known to reward the winners heavily, the losers too. He has beds for cheap, but they aren't comfortable and they aren't private.
Alterations
Tubom has decorated the tavern in shields from travelers who have passed by either forgotten them, or he's traded for a few unique ones. He's done a lot of demolition work on the second floor to create one massive barracks he keeps beds in for people to crash at, and open balcony space so you can head upstairs and watch the chaos from above.
Tourism
The Sleeping Orc is mostly a hidden gem, despite it's appearances. It's a great place for local fighters to make friends and look for work. It's a place frequented by people looking for muscle for hire. It's also a great place for a good drink and some hot gossip from the locals. Visitors to town can enjoy the atmosphere and chaos, and citizens who may not be the most trustworthy can usually make some quick coin here playing cards, betting on arm wrestling matches, or participating in other activities.
