Books typically contain a very specific smell, and old books have a different scent than new books, and this whole building reeks of old book smell mixed with sea salt. It's a good thing the door pulls to open because if you needed to push inside it might be a struggle. There are shelves in here somewhere... but mostly it is stacks and stacks and piles upon piles of books. Tall leaning towers of tomes stand between winding intricate pathways. As the door shuts behind you bells chime abruptly.
