Tat Shahar (Taht SHUH·har) is a port town located just on the edge of the Vruqehst Rainforest.

Demographics

The civilians of Tat Shahar live under a Caste system where members of certain social classes operate and associate in certain ways according to their position within said class.

Government

The Maharaja (High King) is the male ruler of Tat Shahar. The locals believe that the Maharaja is reincarnated by Illúmineth and can only be born after the current Maharaja has passed away. As soon as the new Maharaja is born, they are officially bestowed the title. However, until they are fit to rule, their father rules in their stead as Kam Raaja (Lesser King).

Industry & Trade

This region is renown for their production of textiles, ivory, spices, and herbs.

Architecture

A lot of the architecture around town shows depictions of an elephant. The locals believe that when he returns to Elloría, Illendíl will take the form of an elephant- or a Loxodon. This belief stems from the speculation that the Velrov Herd navigates with the intent of reuniting with Illendíl amongst the stars.
