Tronjheim (Tron·j·hime)
Tronjheim (Tron·j·hime) is a Dwarven city built into the exterior of a hanging cave near the old mountains of Centuria. It is where many of the Dwarves from Khur Khaldûr went following the collapse of the kingdom following the Centurion Wars. The city was built by the Ellorian Senate following the events of the Sylvan Rebellion.
Demographics
Although the city's history is that of refuge, it's location allows it to be more open to the outside world- as oppose to being in a mountain.
Defences
There is only one entrance to the city since it is built into the overhang of a mountain. This allows for the inhabitants to fortify and view any oncoming forces from a great distance away; a great advantage, especially after the dwarves were caught off guard at Khur Khaldûr.
Architecture
The town wraps around the interior of a mountain and at the center rises a giant column that provides structural support and is the meeting place of local government members. The column is designed in the style of those found at Khur Khaldûr, a constant reminder of their past and what is symbolically holding up their new home.
Geography
Located within the Majesty Mountains, the terrain surrounding the mountain is very dry, but the climate is rather hospitable.
