Abigail Galene
Mammon, Lady of Rest, The Sleeping Blight.
The human being possessed by the demon of sloth. Or maybe it's the other way around for these two. There doesn't seem to be much of a distinguishment between the two, or even a change of behavior according to her parents. The youngest of the humans involved in the bet Abigail was always a quiet and lazy girl, prefering to be alone in her room than almost anything else, but to the point of being a shut in. Nothing her parents or doctors did seemed to matter in the slightest either. Only getting her to associate with people for brief spans of time. She was smart and scored almost perfectly in school when she bothered to go, and even had a group that seemed to be her friends, though they said she never interacted with them much either. It's not know how she got in touch with her possesor while bearely moving from one spot, but maybe that's what drew it to her in the first place. Maybe in one of the many books she enjoyed something snuck through her parents to her. What was she given in return? What would she even have wanted? Either way one day her parents just found her gone, and have heard nothing of her since. They seem more complacent about the whole thing than they should but maybe that's an affect of having the demon there for an extended period of time. Sloth hasn't shown up in one place during The Bet. The others seem to have territories that expand and shrink in time, but slothful affects seem to pop up and dissappear in pockets with no rhyme or reason. And while the other participants have actully been seen themselves Abigail hasn't been seen at all. She may have just planted herself somewhere quiet that she can rest and oversee their work from there, but who truly knows if, being what they are, they're even trying to win in the first place.
