Alactian Valley

Geography

In the center of the Hailstorm Mountains, there exists a Shangri-La of sorts, called the Alactian Valley. The Alactian Valley was unknown to the world until Tamoré discovered it after being pursued by pirates across the Gold Coast and Khata-Tahr Deserts. In it, Tamoré found a tribe of people who mistook him for a god. Using this status, Tamoré was able to found the Kingdom of Alactia, which flourished until the Age of Intellect, where a sharp decline and drain of natural resources ultimately did the kingdom in.
The Alactian Valley when Tamoré found it was a virgin land. No painting could do the valley justice. It was said to be home of one of the Tablets of Ulxos, that Exmore had distributed throughout the world to keep the Portal of Tears from reopening. Today, Alactian Valley is a land sapped by the Millennium of the Ten Tyrants. The gargantuan Alactian Underworld has ruined most of the purity the land had, and today the Alactian Valley is both undesirable and mundane.
