Alduran Mountains

Geography

The Alduran Mountains, named after the Alduran Tribe of Seren, which would eventually become the Union of Mesalanic Peoples, is the world’s largest mountain range. It begins by Bordora Gol, bordering the Sea of Twilight, and continues northeastward until the Plains of Ether and the Empharron Bay. The mountains represent the northernmost point of Surelia.   At its southernmost ranges, the mountain is peaceful, with long green slopes and linear pathways. In the center of the Alduran Mountains, the altitude rises dramatically, the highest mountain being Mount Aloccan, rising to approximately 16,000 feet. The altitude continues to rise in the northern Alduran Mountains until the Mount Vyscanolar, which reaches over 25,000 feet. The climate of the northern Alduran Mountains rivals even the most frigid areas of The Broken Northlands.   The immense amount of snowfall in the northern Aldurans creates the Avenwind Falls (named after General Avenwind of Mesalan), which flow into the Aulcarr River, emptying eventually into the Sea of Twilight. Almost no travel occurs in the northern Alduran Mountains, and only a scant few travel the middle Alduran Mountains.
