Argot Forest
Geography
Argot Forest has always been a prominent area of Exvaloria. The Hebon, the most common type of Norgan, became the dominant tribe of the Argot Forest during the Age of Emergence. They traveled eastward toward the tip of the Hebon Spiral and founded the city of Vaur. After Vaur began to flourish, the Hebon expanded, creating the Principality of Valoria. Though Vaur expanded throughout the Hebon Spiral, the trade capital of Valoria was Inicum, in the Argot Forest. After the fall of Valoria, the Hebon remained on the Hebon Spiral, while other nations of the Argot Forest battled constantly and furiously.
In the Age of Decline, the Hebon Resurgence took place, and they founded the Principality of New Valoria. This time, the capital was at Batharus in the Argot Forest, while the Hebon Spiral was reclassified as the “Ruins of Valoria.” New Valoria has grown quickly and is also quite prosperous.
Argot Forest is a thickly wooded land. Many keeps and rooks are in the forest. The density of the forest makes it a very hard place to invade and a very easy place to defend. Thus, Argot Forest has often been called the “lifeblood of Valoria.” Three major passes run through the forest: Actias Pass, Huleon Pass, and Pieth Pass. The port of Nerengo and Narsodeme lie on the Verak Sea and channel goods throughout the Argot Forest.
