Bordora Gol, the Steaming Gorges
Geography
Bordora Gol, meaning “The Steaming Gorges,” is below Mesalan and east of the Mouths of the Southflow. The area was home to the Aurdum Tribe of Seren, which created the first Seren settlements along the Southflow River. However, the unfavorable nature of Bordora Gol has kept it from being settled or civilized. Much of the land is overrun with wild fauna and dangerous monsters.
The main entrance into the gorges is in the sub-region of Ekela, Primal Seren for “Slope.” The land is extremely wet and humid. The Bordoran Rainforest is located throughout Bordora Gol. Trees abound everywhere. Bordora Gol itself gets little or no sunlight, as the thick canvas disallows almost any radiance from passing through it. At its most extreme point, it is 658 miles below sea level.
Some species have survived in Bordora Gol since the time of the World Pangaea. Therefore, the land is extremely intriguing to botanists and environmentalists. However, Bordora Gol is classical for its danger. Many natural traps have formed, meaning that only the most seasoned of explorers will be able to navigate into the forest. Not to mention, the deeper one goes into Bordora Gol, the more ferocious and competitive the animals of the gorges become.
