Elyndale

Geography

Elyndale is the homeland of Valant Tribe of Seren. It is also home to one of the most enduring and powerful empires in Orim: the Seren Empire. From the Empire’s seat of power at the Holy City (“Aupha-Il” in Seren), the impenetrable capital of the Empire that has never once fallen to a foreign power.
Elyndale is split up into many exarchates, ruled by exarchs, further ruled by the Exarch-King, and ultimately, the Arch Emperor of the Seren Empire. The land, since the Age of the Southern Kingdoms, with the exception of the Age of Power, has constantly bustled with trade, culture, and achievement. The cities of the Seren are unmatched by any; truly, the Seren Empire is the greatest cultural empire in the world.
The texture of Elyndale’s terrain is verdant, green, and peaceful. The Great Pass, which begins at the Holy City, runs triumphantly through the center of Elyndale, passes into Shyik, and ultimately runs to the Greenland Expanse. The land is supremely civilized and culturally adept in all possible ways. The benevolent rule of many fine Arch Emperor’s has brought the land unrivaled protection and safety. All trouble seems to radiate away from the Seren Empire. The Age of Twilight has seen no wars for the Seren Empire, and while some see this as a furthering of the Age of Decline, many see this as a renaissance.
