Fen of Veshar

Geography

The Fen of Veshar is a sere that stopped developing. The fen probably began developing during the Age of Power, and during its ecological progression, halted at the fen state. Veshar, a Numix shaman-lord of the Age of Alchemy, resided in the fen for many years, fending off numerous attempts at port colonization. During the Age of Virtue, the Senate of the Seren renamed the land, previously called Nordǽrin, to the Fen of Veshar.
A moist land, the fen, after Veshar’s death, became an unbridled and wild land. Tribes from Hailstorm Greater, fleeing persecution by Gold Coast pirates, navigated to the Fen of Veshar. Three tribal nations currently vie for power in the fen: the Sereca Nation, the Orochė Nation, and the Arinoa Nation. The Sereca Nation is dominant in the east and south, while the Arinoa and Orochė Nations battle for supremacy of the west.
