Greater Plains of Exmore

Geography

The Greater Plains of Exmore border Alurin in the north, the Colossus of Mana in the west, and the Empharron Bay in the east. The plains are the furthest extension of the Great Organics. At times, the plains have been influenced by the Seren Empire, such as during the reign of Arch Emperor Alarum the Magnificent and earlier. Historically though, no nation has been supreme over the Greater Plains of Exmore. Many unique flora and fauna reside in the plains.
The plains are inhabited by the Kolityr, a race of portly, reasonably sized, bipedal humanoids. The Kolityr reside, interestingly, in shrubs, where they sleep, eat, and drink. They are also called the Enessi by the Tyches, meaning “Shrub-people,” and the Aragod- dul by the Hibrute, meaning “People of the plants.” When they go to sleep, parts of the shrubs connect with the Kolityr’s body, and they are fed water and food through this. There are three main societies of the Kolityr on the Greater Plains of Exmore.
They are the Amari, the Yovenni, and the Quilan. The Amari are historically a pro-Seren faction, while the Yovenni are an independent faction. The Quilan have mostly kept to themselves, but at key points in the history of the Greater Plains have made a difference. During the Battle of Arfandular, the Quilan sided with the Yovenni in expulsing the Seren Empire from the Greater Plains of Exmore during the Age of Decline. This was a grave turn for the Amari, who have normally been the most powerful of the Kolityr.
