Neveric

Geography

The westernmost forest in the Jungles of Exmore, Neveric has, like Holycon, had a large amount of Imperial influence during its time. The architecture of Neveric bears a striking resemblance to that of the Imperial-endorsed “Hadorii” architectural style. Aside from cultural influences, eight different tribes of Neveric have observed the overlordship of the Seren Empire, and two tribes have become protectorates of the Seren Empire. The Royal Republic of Malwynn has refused to recognize the two protectorates as nations.   Likewise, on Seren maps, these areas are considered colonial holdings of the Seren Empire. Neveric is a wet land, the result of the end of many rivers that enter the forest in Plara. Thus, the inhabitants have styled their cities accordingly, using as much of the Hadorii architecture as possible, but also designing some facets to suit their unique situation. Travel by foot is very difficult, thus, almost all resident tribes of Neveric navigate by boat. In fact, Imperial geographers once considered designating Neveric as a marsh and not a forest, but the fact that over 50% of the forest has a hard ground led them to digress.   However, the 50% that has hard ground is so mountainous and rocky that the tribes of Neveric have been forced to adapt to the marshy areas of the forest, usually located in the southeast. The primary tribes of Neveric are the Iridii, Dorumii (Seren Protectorate), Elidion (Seren Protectorate), Calamon, Arach, Goldhis, Forasse, Nojuma, Soltiorr, and the Morkura. The largest city in the region is Altoa, part of the Dorumii holdings. The second largest is Numonu, the capital of the Elidion.
