Sea of Twilight

Geography

The Sea of Twilight, which is below Surelia, runs west to the Blythwater Bay and east to the Verak Sea; its farthest westward extent is Calia, while its eastward extent is The Red Coast. Officially, the Sea of Twilight is the training ground of the Imperial Naval Academy for the Seren Empire. Since the Age of the Southern Kingdoms, only three times has it come under foreign domination: once in the Age of Power, next in the Age of Mist, and a third time in the Age of Decline.
The Sea of Twilight exhibits a mystical quality. Its shores are peaceful, but the clouds over the Sea obscure the light, turning it magenta. Fishing flourishes in the Sea of Twilight; 88% of the Seren Empire’s fish come from there. The whale-like “aldour” are plentiful in the sea. In fact, 28% of the world’s aldour reside in the Sea of Twilight.
