Stillwater Lake
Geography
The majestic Stillwater Lake is, unsurprisingly, a place of stagnancy. Its light beige shores caress the grassy hillsides that surround the lake, its waters are quiet, forgiving, motherly, and firm, the flows of the Cartolyn-Abrigon and Harvan rivers are soothing, and the regions around the Stillwater remain some of the most populated in the entire Gagic Southwest.
The Ginharian shaman-lord Tarreun, as word of the impending exodus was spreading across the Gagic Southwest, said this of the region. “The greatest sorrow that befalls me is that I must take my leave of the Stillwater Lake. The Ginharo will never again find a region of such tranquility and calmness.” Many great philosophers, artists, and writers, have holdings by the region. Officially, it is patrolled by the Seren Empire, but in truth, the guards are mostly mercenaries and brigands, or even sometimes outlaws.
