The Dead Mountains

Geography

The Dead Mountains separate the mass of the Gagic Southwest from Mournfollow, the largest of the corrupted temples of Xyvolar. For most, Mournfollow is a blight upon the land, contained only by the Sea of Twilight, Blythwater Bay, and Dead Mountains. It is readily evident that the Dead Mountains are constantly taxed by the dark energy flowing from Mournfollow. All life in the mountains has been exterminated, leaving a graphite-like toxic ash among a plethora of rocks, boulders, and stone. Traveling through the Dead Mountains is almost impossible, and even the evils of Caer-Denab stay far away from these accursed mounds of rock.
