West Surmont

Geography

The Firth of Saman divides the region of Bordora Gol and West Surmont. While Bordora Gol is a labyrinthine colossus of jungle and danger, West Surmont is a much more leveled land. Various mountains, trees, and plains mundanely cover it. It is spectacularly boring. In the Age of Emergence, soulstone mines abounded in West Surmont. Mesalan and the early Seren Archduchy fought a war over East Surmont, which, after Darin the Fine’s loss to Exarch Voton the Blessed, became part of the Seren Archduchy, along with West Surmont and Ilfalar. It has remained in Seren hands ever since.
