Falconer Long Coat
This unusual, sturdy leather coat produced by the Falconer's Guild is reinforced with lamalar leather plates in the lining. These plates are interconnected through a web of silkmoss. The outer layer of the coat is decorated in natural designs, such as leaves and other foliage.
On close inspection, the foliage pattern is designed in such a way to allow a Falconer wearing the coat to blend in with many different terrains from forest to high grass independent of the season.
However, the coat's weight is different than a traditional oilskin, canvas or other kinds of long coat. The weight distribution is different and a wearer has to learn and train to fight and move in such a garment.
The coat itself is unique and stands out to suggest the wearer is a Falconer.
Significance
A Falconer's coat has great significance in the areas where the Falconer Guild operations, such as along the Warden Road. In a way, there is a cultural significance as the coat, with its almost impossible to replicate designs and layer construction, is seen as a 'badge of office' for a Falconer.
Those who come by a Falconer coat that are not one of the Falconers are usually confronted quickly by the guild if detected. Stealing such a coat is not tolerated by the guild who go to great lengths to protect how the coat is made and the reputation of the Falconers.

Special Conditions and Notes
A Falconer's armored coat is slightly more cumbersome than light armor and less effective than true medium armor. This type of garment lies in between the two types. Other than protection, the advantage of the coat is that it can be worn or removed as a 'move action' for a character. Unlike other armored coats, this type can only be worn over clothes or cloth armor types. If it is worn over cloth armor, use the better AC bonus and worse value in all other categories.
