Raw materials & Components
The holy symbol of Zla Lngan Ma, like the holy symbol of any Anzeru, is made at least partially with materials found in a rockfall on the deity's mountain.   In the case of the Storm Mother, the symbol is silvery metal in the shape of a silver sword, usually the length of a hand from heel to longest fingertip or possibly a bit longer. It has lightning or hailstone designs carved into the "blade", which often is sharpened enough to work as a letter opener at minimum. Bits of gemstone found in a rockfall on Red Moon Mountain are buried in some portion of the symbol, sometimes the "hilt", sometimes the "blade".   As a portable object, the holy symbol was crafted either to be worn as a brooch (its clasp may be part of a crosspiece, or it may fit into a "sword loop" pin base) or the "hilt" will have a pendant loop to connect it to a heavy silver chain as a belt, bracelet, or necklace. If crafted for a temple, the holy symbol will fit snugly into a recess or hollow specifically carved for it. Some temple symbols of Zla Lngan Ma are integrated into a lightning rod: the Storm Mother threw Her bolt there, what better place for Her symbol?
