Iron Library Calendar
The Iron Library Calendar was proposed by one of the first Iron Library archivists, Diego Vaenoth, to reform - if not correct - flaws in the old Thassalonian Calendar where it would drift away from the natural seasons since it was a lunar calendar. This new calendar was designed with the aid of the Samakarii mathematicians, Dorijee and Padma, along with the Jade Imperial astronomer, Luo Xiang.
It was this collaboration that allowed the calendar to quickly spread, replacing the old Thassalonian calendar in many parts of Elohey in Samakar, the Jade Empire, Angesh, and other locations. In some places, such as Binaket, Varang Raj, and the Gau Empire, a different calendar is used but those were adjusted over time to bear a close match to the Iron Library Calendar.
