Karundel
Karundel began as a trading outpost and mining center. When the iron and copper mines played out in favor of large deposits of marble and limestone, dwarven artists descended on the outpost. In a matter of months, the small mining community became an artist and sculptors’ mecca. Since then, Karundel has become known for its artist Universities. Many a great dwarven craftsman or artist has studied here. Likewise, trade in smuggled artifacts and archaeological finds make its way through Karundel thanks to smugglers and the local thieves guild.
