Vustia

Once these were two separate peoples but because of famine combined with extended conflict in the lands to the south beyond Copan Shire they came together for mutual survival.
Generations later, they are a robust people with a rich, blended culture. Predominantly humans and goblin species, they migrated south until they found a more tolerant environment in the Samakar region.

Clothing and Dress

One of the most notable things about Vustians is their style of dress. Most of their clothing is cream or white linens and dark trousers. Over this they wear a vest trimmed with a multi-colored, quilted edging. The vests are unique as they are riddled on the inner lining with pockets. Such is the craftsmanship of Vustian tailors that one of their vests are said to allow a person to carry at least twice as much weight than they would with belt pouches but not feel burdened by the garment.

Music

Because of their nomadic history, the Vustia have a rich oral tradition. But it isn't spoken stories, but songs. Ancient Vustian songs are both entertaining but also tell a story out of their history from wars, to heroism, to tragedy and so on.
All Vustians are taught these songs, and therefore history, from a young age. It is said that most Vustians know how to play at least one instrument, even if that instrument is their own voice.
