Constonia

Constonia and Elphora have long been at loggerheads. They have had a turbulent relationship and have been on and off war for hundreds of years. At one point the northern part of Elphora belonged to Constonia - being called South Constonia. Although this was a very long time ago many Constonians still refer to that area of land as South Constonia. There is only one border crossing between Elphora and Constonia. There is only one way to cross which does not go through the borders and that is through the Northroot forest. It is a dangerous path. It is theorised that neither nation pull a tighter control at this border due to the illegal trade of drugs that use this pass. Addy's is illegal in Constonia but grows better in the colder climate: therefore the route is often used to smuggle it to Elphora.
The capital of Constonia is Diminiberg; this is where King Derk III rules from. He is married to Princess Zenzi. It is well known that their son Harold is courting trey, Duke of Marsaham (youngest son of the Queen of Zelindra), however Derk and Zenzi want a natural born heir so are trying to get him to have at least a brief relationship with a woman so a legitimate heir may be born.
During the most recent war between the two nations a group of Constonian soldiers were able to get into the palace and publicly execute Princess Maive; the only daughter of the current monarch. Elphoran spies heard of this plan so the decision was made to sacrifice Maive so that they could capture Constonia's top men. The plan backfired, since the Constonian ruler had spies of his own, so he instead sent some regular soldiers. While they were breaching the castle and keeping the attention of the Elphoran army, the real plan was put into place: burning down the city of Hedgefort.
