• Prick greatly admired his father, Simon who was a wizard, who passed away just over a year ago
• Prick lost his arm below the elbow during the party's conflict with The Crystal Serpents
• Ander agreed to help train Prick with the rapier 
• Prick travelled wit the party to Brightcrest with the intention of getting his arm fixed
• Ander ended up paying to get Prick's arm fixed instead of his own
• While in Magecrest Prick learnt his father wasn't really dead
• Erdan (Ander's brother) saw Prick's potential and offered him the position of apprentice with him
