Tearin

Tearin is a dwarven dominated nation. While some locations exist above ground the vast majority of the country is situated underground. 
Tearin is the only country in Vanor that doesn't recognise Vanoran as it's official language (although everyone is Tearin speaks it anyway)
The capital of Tearin is Augasteel, which is nestled into a mountainside. It is partially above ground and partially underground however every part of the city is on the same level; the city is built into the mountain so you can travel horizontally and still move underground. 
The current king of Tearin - Bromdal Glodik II - is a very old man who has no heir. He has named a bastard daughter (Jennan) to follow him. however, therre are two other factions also vying for control, believing that Jennan will be removed from the throne. The first is Thyrus, son of Bromdal's older brother Therdohr. The second is led by Berkam Dralbrum, who believe that Tearin should become a republican state.
Therdohr was actually intended to be the king, but he gave up the throne, hoping to force the nation into becoming a republic. Unfortunately, his father was aware of his political leanings and had officially named his bastard son (Bromdal Glodik) as heir, despite this not being a normally legitimate claim.
