Session Roles

To keep the game running smoothly a role will be assigned to you at the beginning of the session. You may volunteer for a role you prefer, but you can't do it two weeks in a row to give others a chance.

Roles

Session Reporter

Use your creative side and write a summary of how you'd tell this week's tale! Take the events as you experienced them then write a session recap on the WorldAnvil campaign page. The DM won't correct any mistakes, but the group is more than welcome to provide critique! Feel free to include as much detail you want. Amazing jobs will get you inspiration!
At the beginning of the next session you will provide a recap of today's session. The recap should take no more than a minute for sake of brevity.

Court Assistant to the Rules

DND has a lot of rules. Stopping the game mid-encounter to look up a rule sucks. Thankfully tons of resources are out there to help. As the Court Assistant to the Rules you're the one to hunt down the rule while play continues. The decision and how that plays out still ultimately lies with the DM, but your role exists to help bring clarity.

Loot Goblin

We're going to have a little notebook to keep track of party loot. Feel free to divide the spoils however you want out of it, but money and stuff is best kept in bulk throughout an adventure.   You're going to get art, books, gems, and trade goods as treasure which are then going to have to be sold! Coins are 80 to the pound; that's 12.5 pounds per thousand. Not exactly feasible to be carrying around on a day to day basis and you could quickly get overburdened.   So how're you going to carry all this stuff? Riding horses cap out carrying 480 pounds, each one can carry enough coin to buy a house. Own a wagon being pulled by 4 draft horses? Neato what's on it? It can hold over 1700 pounds of people and stuff! Then again maybe you stashed gold in the Bank of @Ardenburg? Best not to forget about it.
