Allanar

Overview

Allanar is the first Elven city-state to have been settled upon Qezun. Most elves live upon the Northern continent of Eltexia, however the Elven mission of protecting places of Fey-Power have led them to the Kingfisher Thicket of Qezun, where a nexus of Fey energy was dying slowly. Though it was starting to be revived by the city's nurture, it suddenly became completely blocked around 50 years ago.   Among their Governing structure, they have six heads. There is the Scion of Agriculture and Bounty, Balmaris Erdil, the Scion of Law and Justice, Zumlamin Alder, the Scion of Sacred Spaces, Anaszoria, the Scion of Nature Preservation, Ularel Woodriver, the Scion of Arcana and Crafters, Caliana Rovash, and the Scion of Trade, Aeselor Evenrest.

Description

The architecture of Allanar is very ostentatious. There is a massive white wall surrounding the city with ten towers connecting the wall segments. There are three gatehouses facing the West, South, and East.

A specific ward of the city, Birchgate lies at the heart of Allanar, and contains only the Birchgate. Surrounding the Birchgate is a delicately and intricately tended garden of trees, flowers, ferns, rocks and sand. There are multiple fish ponds and there is a stock of wild game within this ward as well that the elves ritually and selectively hunt from time to time.

Forest of the Fallen

Most Elven settlements have a similar ward, a swath of forest dedicated to the remains of those passed. The reasoning is twofold. The first reason is to honor their remains by feeding the nature around them, the second is so that they may honor Corellon and Senahine and therefore send the souls to either their domains or to the Feywild so should the deceased spirit choose.
