Pit of the Strife Emperor

Located in Iudossos
The home of Bane during the Dread War, this pit is located upon the Continent of Iudossos. It was a pit of despair, torture, and eternal suffering. Now, it lies empty and cold. That does not mean it is without it's dangers. In the heart of this pit lies a vestige of Bane's influence; the Sable Shard. An obsidian obelisk of divine power, it contains a piece of Bane that was not imprisoned by the gods. This piece is weak, however easily takes control of minds that get too close or stay too long. 
The pit lies unaltered as Bane did not return here before his avatar was wounded and imprisoned. Bane's essence was scattered throughout the multiverse, and if one were to try and resurrect him then they might start with the shard in this pit.
