Stougheller (Stow-heller)
Overview
Stougheller is the key to trade on Easter Qezun. Sitting firmly in the Grasping Mire, a swampy wetland, Stougheller is built upon the delta. The reason it makes an ideal port is twofold; Firstly most of Eastern Qezun is rocky cliffside, with little egress for water or deep water bays. Second, the many converging rivers, sheltered deep water, and low land position make Stougheller ideal. Stougheller is a canal city, perched on both sides of a large river that meets the cold ocean. Extending out from the city into the ocean sit many large docks, and ships of all size populate them. Half the ships are "Ice Runners" that run along the Southern side of Qezun to reach Southeast Galui, usually coming from Southwest Iudossos. Stougheller is a halfway port for that reason, and many ships stop here to resupply.Layout

Mangrove Hill is the walled royal and upper class part of Stougheller. It is reputed for being fairly dry, which is a luxury in Stougheller. It sits on the Northeastern side of the river. Stougheller Manor - This is where the Duke of Stougheller resides. It sits in the middle of a town square, and is made of grey stone. A simple two-story manor house, it boasts much finery inside, and has a simple portrayal on the outside. Cartagia Family Shipping - The home office for the Cartagia shipping company. The Cartagia family live North of Urungal, but have invested in a shipping company in Stougheller. It seems to be quite profitable. Inns - Lonely Lilly: The Lonely Lilly tavern is a booming inn on Mangrove Hill. Called the lonely lilly due to the rarity of distinguished places to stay in Stougheller; the inn lives up it's name and is quite picturesque. Temples - Sunkeeper's Temple: The only temple in Stougheller, the largely dillapidated structure is dedicated to Pelor, the Dawnfather. Made of moldering wood, this building was once of fine make. A large hole in the roof betrays it's lack of use, and though the rubble has cleared, many of the pews sit wet and moldy. The priest of Pelor lives here and maintains what he can on the meager tithes collected, however little faithful remain in Stougheller. The Priest of Pelor is a man by the name of Pellen Rovar, an older human with greying, closer cropped hair. He has a short beard borering the edge of his jaw and spectacles on his crooked nose. Pellen is of the opinion that Pelor is the only god of hope around here, however the true god of the Grasping Mire is stagnation. Graveyard -Canal District
