Session 13, Travelling the Storm

General Summary

When last we left our champions they embarked upon their journey after speaking with the leader of Bayhold and his son Leroy. The storm buffetted them as they travelled to the obelisk, narrowly dodging flying debris and a close encounter with a bear with her cubs. In their rest, an assassin from General Mrag'Ael (of House Skjol) found their camp and tried to end Balran. The group, quick on their feet drove away the assassin, and as they awoke Yera came to speak with them to thank them for their efforts in thwarting the storm and providing guidance to her son. Through another arduous day of travel into a small crater filled with trees, the group comes upon a clearing where they now see the moss covered Obelisk, or as some know it here as, the celestial gate.
