Session 7, On the Trail

General Summary

When last we left our heroes, they had thwarted one of the rituals occurring in the Salt Spray. Encountering a group of cultists along with some terrible undead creature, they managed to save a few of the townsfolk that were to be sacrificed. On their way from informing Tilan of what they dealt with, they gathered in the market district to hear the Queen's address, calling for aid in the war effort while spreading hope and hard times ahead. In their evening of rest, Gorthak witnessed a vision of Drekkim. He was struggling to hold back together Hraedrek's prison and called for aid, asking him to seek the "Frost Wolf." Shangri, suspecting who that was, waited for the princess to go on one of her nightly excursions and asked for her aid. The following day, the group continued to search for clues to find the cultists. Bumping into the twerp from the Snike again, and following from notes of the previous ritual, they decided to investigate the Haytops. While there, they learned of an old woman by the name of Grannie Elrinda, who (for a cost) informed them that there were to be three rituals that the cultists needed.
