Echaean Judicial System

The judicial system in Echaea is a little bit complex, with many, many layers of administration.

The hierarchy is as follows: 1. Dux Cogitors 2. Dracons 3. Archons 4. Laurels 5. Magistrates (local courts)

Of the many punishments that can be meted out, one of the more famous and severe ones is Ostracism. Once a person has been ostracised, no one is required to (and usually people actively don't want to) help this individual and they are no longer allowed to vote, nor are they welcome in any Echaean society.
