Takalah
The Kaptah speak common, but most also know the local dialect called Takalah, which has a slight musical quality to it, and the alphabet is largely consisted of pictographical characters. Spellings tend to vary a little since Takalah is written as it phonetically. for example, it’s common to replace ‘y’ with ‘ee’ or ‘ii’. Takalah also has a ‘high’ form, written in very detailed images and a ‘common’ form which is more simplified and commonly compressed further to a ‘scribe’ form.
