The Asads

The Kaptah military is rather large, consisting of loyal slaves that are trained to be extremely skilled soldiers. They are best trained in horseback and chariot archery, as well as skilled polearm masters, and they are known as the Asads.
Though it is true that the Asads all begin as slaves, they are often freed or are able to purchase their freedom by the end of their training. And almost all decide to stay as part of the military. The Asads are greatly respected, especially those of higher ranks.
