The Kiems

The Kiems are the soldiers dressed in plate or scale armour, though the lower ranked ones wear chain, and they have green and brown capes. They wear helmets with three spikes coming out the top and they are part of the crownsguard. They report directly to the local magistrates, also known as Unelegs.
The hierarchy is as follows:
Queen Kharam (sometimes King Morok)
The Khienethi (gov officials, work directly under the Blue Queen)
The Hawhna (region officials, in charge of a set of cities and towns)
The Unelegs (city magisters)
The Kiems (they have their own ranks within the Kiems)
