Fae Realms

There are many realms in which the Fae live. Tiasimel is the closest to Elysia and the realm most are referring to when they say the Fae Realm. But Tiasimel is one of many realms which get stranger and more foreign the farther they are from Elysia. Even in the closest realm, most of the flora and fauna which reside within it cannot be found anywhere but the Fae Realms. Tiasimel is home to the Fae who regularly interact with the denizens of Elysia. Few people have ever visited this realm, and none have seen any realm that lies beyond it.

Geography

The Fae Realms have diverse geography and topography. The largest region is the Eoredell Grove, often simply called The Grove. The trees on the edges of the grove are around five feet across and sixty feet tall, but get taller closer to the center. In the center of the grove, the trees reach nearly seven hundred feet into the air. The plants that coat the forest floor are a dark and seaweed green. Orange lichen and moss grows on most trees, always sticking to the eastern side. There is little light within the edges of the grove, deeper in there is almost no light at all. But the grove is not dark. Sprites hang in the air and illuminate the forest in a purple glow.
Surrounding the Eoredell Grove are vast grassy plains. The grass of these plains is a bright green that is almost blue. The sprites who live in the plains are a light blue that is close to white
To the southeast is the Ullearaen Sea. The grasslands and its beach are separated by a rocky cliff of white, chalky stone. There are some natural paths that lead down the hundreds of feet to the beach below. Its sands are a light pink that stretches long before reaching the ocean. The waters of the Ullearaen Sea are light and crystal clear. Beneath the soft and rhythmic waves live seaweed and clams. Just a little farther outlive some of the smaller fish, with larger creatures that can be seen leaping out of the water much farther from shore.
The Nadrovar Mountains stretch from the south of the plains all the way to the western side. 

Fauna & Flora

The plants and animals of the Fae Realms are the most diverse of anywhere. The plants of these realms are sustained by Fae magic as opposed to sunlight, allowing them to grow in ways plants cannot in any other place. It is this magic that allows them to grow on the floor of the grove where the thick canopy prevents sunlight from reaching.
Another result of the plants and animals of these realms being sustained by Fae magic is that many of them glow. Some glow all the time, others just at night, some don't glow at all. But the nights, with the glowing wildlife and the bright moon and stars, are never too dark.
