Aasimar

Carrying the blood of a celestial, an aasimar is usually good aligned and fights against evil in the world. Some have a minor physical trait suggesting their heritage, such as silver hair, golden eyes, or an unnaturally intense stare. Those descended from a celestial minion of an Elysiaran deity often carry a birthmark in the shape of the deity’s holy symbol or some other mark significant to that faith.

Regions: Aasimars are relatively common in the Western Isles and Shining South due to a large following of celestial faiths there, and the long tradition of those who become honorable knights, champions, and templars in the service of the gods of good. Additionally, there is a not insignificant population in Avismore and Dragonsport because of how accepting the Free Cities are of those of unnatural bloodlines.

Descriptive Stats: Like other planetouched that are born of unions between mortals and outsiders (such as tieflings and genie-kin), aasimars use their base race to determine their height, weight, and starting age.

Racial Abilities

Aasimars have all the aasimar racial traits except as follows:

  • Automatic Languages: Common, Celestial, home region. Bonus Languages: Aquan, Auran Dwarven, Elven, Gnome, Halfling, and Ignan.
