Cloud Kite

When observed without alarming them, cloud kites look like a hawk the size of a Jull, their feathers and beak pale blue. When alarmed they can turn themselves completely translucent, invisible. Cloud Kites prefer not to keep in this state for long, but will take up an inbetween state as a sign of warning, with their feathers and flesh becoming semi-tranlucent, looking like mist filling that shape. In this form their bones are still completely visible however, making them look like mist shrouded bird skeletons.

This secondary form has given them a common second name "Gravewatchers". Theirs a common superstition in Kyawas and Iozan that gravewatchers are a sign of portent, an omen that someone is going to die soon.
