Echowood

Echowood as hard as a metal and rings with a pleasant sound when struck right. While not as durable as true metal, it can be used to make rigid armor. Echowood also also resonates in the shroud in a way that is condusive to complex weaves. Objects made of echowood have 2 more rune slots. Echowood has a rich deep brown color.

Echowood comes from the Naean forests at the edge of the jungles. The Forest of Chimes as it is sometimes called is fiercely protected by Naea, and the material is rarely available at market, making it extremely expensive.
