Estra

Physical Description

Estra are bipedal creatures that look similar to human sized pangolins with crystalline horns that can glow various colors. Their backside is covered with thick armored plating that serves as a natural defense.

Characteristics and Movement Speed

Body Type, HP, and Natural Armor

Body Type: Tailed Biped
Natural Armor (Platescales): An Estra's back and tail is covered with thicker plate-like scales capable of cushioning blows. As their pattern grows stronger, the platescales also become stronger. The DR gains a bonus equal to the pattern echelon of the Estra (so a second echelon Estra would have 4 DR on the hit locations their platescale covers instead of 2)

Other Special Abilities

Glowhorn: Estra can make their horn glow any color. The horn glows with up to 5m bright light and 5m dim light. As a free action the glow can change color, dim/brighten, or turn off/on. As an action, the estra can spend 1 MP to cause the horns to flash brightly, causing nearby creatures to be blinded for 1d3 Rounds unless they pass an Endurance check. After using the flash, the horns cease to glow and cannot flash again for 1 hour.
