Open Range

Defensive

Permits the character to automatically change the engagement range between themselves and their opponent to a longer range. Unlike the Change Range action, this does not give the opponent the opportunity to maintain the range or take an attack of opportunity.

This cannot be used to Withdraw from engagement entirely (see the Withdraw Special Effect for that).
