Ragjan Wood

Ragjan wood is much more flexible than normal wood and has similar properties to plastic, when heated it becomes malleable and can even melt. Melted ragjan by itself becomes brittle and near useless, but modern alchemy has created a process for melting it down while mixing in reagants to keep it supple or make it tougher after cooling.

Ragjan wood is often used to make waterproof clothing but is not generally used for weapons and armor. There are rumors of recent alchemical research to make threads of ragjan that can resist bullets from firearms. Ragjan wood is loved by craftsmen as it is easy and interesting to work with and has a pleasant smell.
