The world of Ember is chaotic and wild, godless and free. Tens of Thousands of years of history have shaped the land and its people, and events of long ago have closed the world off from outside entities. With the fall of the Dragon empires and the end of the Imperium wars, the Imperium was shattered, and a new race slipped in unnoticed. Humans. The world at large is broken now, full of dangers old and new, with only pockets of isolated civilization here and there. The Little Kingdom, located in the Great Planescape Basin, is the exception. When humanity slipped into Ember, the world changed. This young race of short lived creatures soon rose to prominence in this area. Within a few hundred years, they had forged alliances with the other races in the area, creating a unified country to keep their people safe.
Lately, the world has been darkening. Things have crept up from the deep places of the world, great powers have shaken the earth, and dragons have been sighted for the first time in a thousand years. The roads are no longer safe, and fear has begun to take hold. As the twilight draws nigh, the leaders of the Little Kingdom have created a place to train elite adventurers to combat threats to the peace. Eventyr Academy has risen to combat any and all threats that might arise. Who can say if they will succeed?
