The Gray Wolves

The Gray Wolves is a group of youths who operated in Karavale. They had some involvement with the town's criminal underworld, the Shadow Network, performing collections at local businesses for "protection" money.
The half-elf, Ovorin Redthorn, is the gang's leader. He and the other members of the gang did not originally hail from Karavale. When in town, however, they recruited a local boy named Claran Thel, bullying him into working for the gang.
While the Shadow attempted to destroy the Home Away From Home, Claran showed a change of heart and freed Haymin's Heroes from imprisonment so they could confront the thieves' guild leader while Claran sought help from the town watch. Claran's actions ultimately led to the Shadow's apprehension as Haymin's Heroes stalled the Shadow's plans and bought enough time for aid to finally arrive.
The next morning Claran Thel was found dead, seemingly beaten to death. The Gray Wolves were never seen in Karavale again.
