“Hornblade” (Shortsword)   Dogma: Those who seek to live in accordance with the way of the Provider will be blessed with a cornucopia of riches. Although violence should never be welcomed, the Protector’s aegis extends to those willing to fiercely defend their home and community. Lead through example, knowing the activities of those you lead so you can shoulder their burden if need be. Treasure your family, for your parents gave you life and your children are your future. Care for the aged and weak, for you never know when you may be one of the strong laid low.   History/Relationships: Yondalla is the creator and protector of the halfling race. Over time she has developed strong relationships with Garl Glittergold, God of Gnomes, Corellon Larethian, God of Elves, and Moradin, God of Dwarves. Since coming to Embril, she has forged a bond with Vita, Goddess of Life. She considers all evil deities who promote murder and destruction as her enemies. Chief among these is Vastator, God of Destruction, and Clades, Goddess of Disaster.   Clergy and Temples: Clerics of Yondalla officiate weddings and funerals, bless crops and new venture, and lay plans for community defense. They build few temples, however, in part because halflings in Embril have no true land of their own. The other major factor is that worship of Yondalla is so ingrained into nearly every aspect of Halfling society that they treat the idea of specific services to their goddess once a week with bemused dismissal. The temples they have built, in Evercress are set amid bountiful gardens or farm fields. They contain storehouses stuffed with food and other necessities. They also contain armories and fortified sections where local halflings can safely ride out natural disasters or enemy attacks. Clerics of Yondalla wear a green tunic and green pants trimmed in yellow, plus a yellow cloak. Their shields bear an image of a cornucopia.   Holidays:
Jubilee – Officiate marriage ceremonies, blessing marriages, expectant mothers, and those planning families.
Spring Festival – Celebrate the coming spring, blessing farmland.
Harvest Festival – Celebrate the coming autumn, blessing the crops and praying for a bountiful harvest.   Known Temples:
The Abbey of the Blessed Cornucopia (Church)
The Temple of the Bountiful Horn (Doleshire, Evercress)
The House of Yondalla (West Andaria, Kainan)
