Emerios

Emerios, a world on the verge of disaster. They who broke the world and started the 9th age are now in motion again empowered and determined to finish what they started. 9 of every 10 able bodied persons lost in the final battle of The war of Turoolek. Empires, Religions, entire cultures lost in a moment. The Gods who were worshiped by these people now unloved, some have moved on to other pursuits, some still remain awaiting those who remember. The lands, now separated by a terrible and angry new ocean heaved and broke until it settled into its new form. New mountains thrust upwards, rivers ripping through previous highlands eroding and stripping the land. With the lack of civilized folk keeping them back , the forests and jungles grow massive and swallow the former farmlands and smaller settlements. Areas formerly covered by seas or lakes now lay bare. A massive desert forming to the north of Motraethyer stretching right to the edge of the tundra.   A still rebuilding population having successfully re-founded many of the old cities and holding back the unsavory or evil things that poured out of the earth after the destruction ended. Now nearing the end of the 9th recorded era, this aging world prepares. Some prepare to defend the peoples of Emerios , to drive back this ancient enemy, while others prepare for it's coming with religions fervor and a drive towards the annihilation of all that is good by giving this ancient power dominion of our world forever.
