Anahoa Moreno

Anahoa Moreno is a half-elf woman who has recently taken charge of the Bright within the Starshine Front. Originally born to a high elf and human in the Imperial City, she was denied by her elven father. Her Nasite mother brought them back to her home town of Ormond, seeking to stay with family, but she was cast out as a traitor and sympathizer with the Empire. Her mother was turned away from nearly every person and group that could have offered aid, and they ended up with a life on the streets. Anahoa's mother died when she was only seven years old, and she eventually migrated to the city streets of Nasah. Here she soon fell in with a resistance movement against the Jakonians called the People's Front of Nasah. She became a courier for the rebels, and it was a shock to her when the Imperial Army raided their headquarters and wiped them out. Being young and observant, she escaped the disaster.
All the way through her teenage years, Anahoa continued to be involved with plenty of resistance movements, and she learned to use her elven features to her advantage. Few guards would search or harass a half-elf, knowing full well that they could have connections with one of the banking families. She became both a negotiator and a courier for several more abortive rebellious movements. Each subsequent rebellion attempted hardened her heart towards the Empire and their rule over Nasite lands. When the Starshine Front was founded, she was welcomed into their ranks, this time as a member of the leadership cabal. Her main task was meeting with foreign leaders and diplomats to secure outside support and funding. She quickly became the face of the organization to other nations.
In 1033, a Fellowship of the Palm assassination attempt on Anahoa was thwarted, and she returned to Matanzas to join the Bright itself. She has quickly become the de facto leader of the movement, having arranged for most of its support. She is considered to be one of the most dangerous members of the Front, and the Church of the One Sun has placed a fifty thousand gold bounty for her head. It is widely assumed that when the next rebellion begins, Anahoa will likely be at its front this time, and she seems to be well aware that this could be her final hurrah as a rebellion member.
