Elvish

Minlamben, or in the Common tongue, Elvish, is the language spoken among both the Tenashi elves and the high elves of the human lands. It is an ancient language that predates even Elder Common in usage. The elves have kept their tongue secret from the humans and others for centuries, and it is only recently, with the growing integration of half-elven communities, that words have begun to spread among the general population. Due to this, elven communities no longer offer the death sentence for those who teach humans their language, which has caused the words to be embraced by scholars, particularly wizards, who hope to learn spellcraft from the elven masters.
