Jaburi

Discovered by a hunting party, the Jaburi is a large avian creature found along the shores of Sapphire Bay. Typically white with mottled feathers, it possesses a roughly 1.2 meter wingspan, and is fully capable of flight. Although when landed it seems to take on a height of nearly three meters, most of this height consists of its retractable legs, that allow it to move through ocean waves fairly easily to hunt fish. When threatened by other jaburis or hunters, it extends itself to its full height and wingspan in order to intimidate and overshadow its competitor.
