Mist Dwarf
Mist dwarves are for the most part unknown in Emicara, although the opening of commerce with the New World in the west and the continent of Emeralia have begun to change that. The mist dwarves live on the fog shrouded island of Londslund, a large island neighboring the Emeralian continent. For hundreds of years they have been isolated within their own empire in the fog, occasionally fending off raids from nordcats and waging wars against the gnomes on Ourisland. They all follow and worship the Eternal Empress, Her Most Magnificent Majesty, the Benevolent and Magnanimous Queen Victoria, Ruler of London. Mist dwarves are unlike the dwarves of Emicara as they for the most part have abandoned underground living and instead have embraced building their monumental structures on the surface, favoring buildings of stone, carved often in the shapes of mythical animals and dwarven heroes.

Major language groups and dialects
Mist dwarves who live their entire lives on Londslund typically will never speak a word in another tongue than Dwarven. However, Londslund is home to two maginificent universities, and their remote observation of other cultures has led to much study of other languages. Still, for the most part, a mist dwarf will have no need to learn anything other than Dwarven, and their version of the tongue varies greatly from the dwarves of Emicara, predominantly due to favor in use of rhyming patterns and an occasionally incomprehensible accent, spoken by the more backwoods individuals of Londslund.
Art & Architecture
The very few who have seen the exteriors of mist dwarf society and construction would be deceived to think that the mist dwarves are simple and forego art and decoration. The simple truth is that the arts of the mist dwarves are shrouded in fog and mystery, just as their civilization is. They do favor unpainted structures, mostly of gray or white stones, that blend into the fogs, but the structures themselves are adorned with carvings of incredible detail and scale. Towering statues, particularly of lions and dwarves, decorate every corner of the great cities of the mist dwarfs, and most take comfort in the relative uniformity of their architectural style.
